Ayasofya 537 yılında İmparator Justinianus tarafından inşa ettirilen Ayasofya, yaklaşık bin yıl boyunca dünyanın en büyük katedrali oldu. 1453'te camiye dönüştürüldü, 1934'te müze oldu, 2020'de yeniden ibadete açıldı. Dev kubbesinin altında Bizans mozaiklerini ve Osmanlı hat levhalarını bir arada görecek, yapının mimarlık tarihindeki yerini öğreneceksiniz.

Yerebatan Sarnıcı

  • yüzyılda şehre su sağlamak için yapılan bu yeraltı sarnıcı, loş ışıklar altında yükselen 336 sütunuyla adeta bir orman gibi. Ters ve yan yerleştirilmiş Medusa başlarının gizemini, sarnıcın yüzyıllar boyunca nasıl unutulup yeniden keşfedildiğini dinleyeceksiniz.

Sultanahmet Camii (Mavi Cami) Sultan I. Ahmed tarafından 1609–1616 yılları arasında yaptırılan cami, altı minaresi ve iç mekânını süsleyen binlerce İznik çinisiyle Osmanlı mimarisinin en tanınmış eserlerinden biri. Ziyaret sırasında caminin mimari özelliklerini ve dönemin hikâyesini keşfedeceksiniz.

Hipodrom (Sultanahmet Meydanı) Bizans döneminde araba yarışlarının, şenliklerin ve isyanların sahnesi olan meydanda; Mısır’dan getirilen Dikilitaş’ı, Delfi’den taşınan Yılanlı Sütun’u, Örme Dikilitaş’ı ve Alman Çeşmesi’ni göreceksiniz. Her biri şehrin farklı bir dönemine tanıklık ediyor.
