• Visas and entry rules: Taken from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (mfa.gov.tr) and the official pages of embassies and consulates, because a single mistake here can cost a traveller their trip.
• Weather: Monthly tables are based on long-term climate averages. The daily forecasts on our weather pages come automatically from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) and refresh every two hours; for official warnings, check the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM).
• Hotels and halal: We call a hotel “fully halal” only if it serves no alcohol; a hotel that serves halal food but also alcohol is “halal-friendly”. We only say “certified” when we know which body issued the certificate.
• Prices: Given as approximate ranges at the time of writing. They change with the season and the exchange rate, so confirm the price when you book. We don't publish fixed exchange rates.
• Sources: Most of our guides end with links to the official sources we relied on.
• Links to our services: Transfer, tour and car rental links inside articles lead to Voyago's own booking pages.
