Important information about planning and organizing your tours in Turkey.
Tours on Voyago are private, not group tours: the vehicle and driver are reserved for your group alone and are not shared with other guests. The price is per vehicle, not per person, so the cost per head drops for larger families and groups of friends. Because the vehicle is yours, the tour can run on the date you choose; you settle the start time and stops with the operator on WhatsApp.
On many tours the driver speaks Arabic. When the operator states it, the tour page shows an “Arabic-speaking driver” label, and the tours list can be filtered to show only those tours. Whether a guide comes along as well depends on the operator and the tour; if the listing does not make it clear, ask the operator with the WhatsApp button on the tour page before you book.
The tour price is per vehicle, not per person: the vehicle and driver are reserved for your group alone. Unless the tour description says otherwise, road and motorway/bridge tolls, fuel and the driver's fee are included. Cable car tickets and museum or archaeological site entry are not included, and meals usually are not. For anything the description does not make clear (child seat, guide, stops), ask the tour operator on WhatsApp before you book.
Each tour departs from the city where its operator is based, and the tour page shows that city. The pickup point and time — your hotel included — are agreed with the operator on WhatsApp when you book. If you are staying in another city, look on Voyago for tours run by operators based there, which start from that city.
Half-day tours usually run 4-5 hours and focus on one area or a few headline stops. Full-day tours run 8-10 hours, reach further sites and mostly include a lunch break. For a first visit with only one day to spare, a full day covers more; on a flight day or a short layover, a half day is the safer choice.
Most tours are family-paced, but walking distance and total length vary by tour. For families with small children, half-day tours and programmes with active stops such as a boat ride or cable car go down more easily. Some activities, balloon flights among them, have minimum age or height rules, which are stated on the tour page.
